It is a delight to introduce our new website!
We are now initiating our soft launch of Theofilos as an open access journal:
- The new website was launched today.
- The whole back catalogue of issues (up until 2018 nr. 2) will be published before the end of September.
- Theofilos is (so far) continuing as both print (subscription) og digital (open access) publication.
- The publication of the digital version of each issue will (so far) happen six months after the printed version.
We reckon that many articles from the archives will be of real interest to many. Please feel free to share such articles in social media!
This new website has resulted in a new phase for our journal. But the overarching purpose of Theofilos remains the same; i.e. “to present, analyze and discuss the truth and relevance of the Christian faith”.
This is highlighted in the key quote on the front page of our new website from the well-known Oxford-professor Alister E. McGrath:
«Christian apologetics is both a science and an art. It is an academic discipline, rigorously grounded in Christian theology, and passionately concerned to demonstrate and defend the truth of Christianity. But it is also a craft, a creative attempt to ensure that the gospel proclamation meshes as closely as possible with the needs and concerns of human existence.»
We do hope that the new website will give you a renewed encounter with the rich archives of our journal!

Ny nettside – med gradvis lansering
Det er en glede å kunne introdusere vår nye nettside!
Lanseringen av vår open access-løsning for Theofilos skjer gradvis:
- Den nye nettsiden ble åpnet i dag.
- Hele arkivet med tidligere utgaver (t.o.m. 2018 / 2) vil etter planen publiseres innen utgangen av september.
- Inntil videre fortsetter Theofilos både som trykt versjon (abonnement) og som digital versjon (open access).
- Publiseringen av den digitale utgaven av hvert nummer skjer inntil videre med ett halvårs etterslep.
Vi regner med at mange artikler fra arkivet vil ha betydelig interesse. Vi vil oppmuntre til aktiv spredning via sosiale medier!
Med denne nye nettsiden har Theofilos gått inn i en ny fase. Men tidsskriftets kjerneoppdrag er jo det samme; nemlig «å presentere, analysere og drøfte den kristne troens sannhet og relevans.»
